You have found the Pig.Not that I have been hiding of course, it is just that it is only the rare and most persistent of browsers who seem to stumble onto this particular backwater. Only those with the tenacity, the time and the obvious lack of anything better to do ever make it here. Those who do generally get going pretty quickly and who can blame them? The guestbook doesn't work at the moment and the updates are so few and far between that a visit a year is generally sufficient.
However, her I sit, blood pressure permanently high, yelling at the things that annoy me. The list of things that annoy me is long and not particularly exclusive. It can be anything, if you stand still for long enough you may end up featured on one of the pages. Inbetween getting upset at the world and shouting at things I spend a lot of time wondering about stuff. I never really come to any conclusions but this may be a vain attempt to do so.
For the same reason that I rarely respond to facebook, LinkedIn or any one of the other thousand 'social networking' sites I probably won't respond to you. If you don't like it then just cruise on by. If you like it feel free to sign the guest book and let me know (of course it does not work at the moment but if you click on the link the error message is more entertaining than watching most of the current TV shows...). I won't send you SPAM emails, I probably won't even read it.
Projects
I was working on some pet shelter management software but it would appear that there is no interest in it. I may continue with it for the hell of it but I am not actively doing much with it now. Work takes up too much time to spend more hours writing stuff that probably will not go anywhere. Of course, if you are an animal shelter and you tell me this will actually benefit you and save the life of some poor mutt or moggie then I'll get back on it. Provisionally entitled P.A.W.S. (Pet Adoption and Welfare System) it is designed to help animal shelters manage thier day to day operations and to enable better web visability for the animals which are up for adoption. I am also trying to find time to play with the helpdesk software but it's sunny outside and I have beer in the fridge so that's unlikely. I have been doing a lot of customisation work on it for my work but as for actually updating the whole thing and re-releasing it - that is some way off. I know you are all disappointed but you'll just have to wait :-)

Upgraded the Message Boards
Upgraded, finally to the latest message boards. Took my time but finally it's here.
Belize '08 photos
Added the photos from the Belize '08 trip including some fairly nice underwater shots.
Changed the website look and feel.
A work in progress, using some CSS to make the whole thing a bit nicer.
