Because it makes me feel better sounded like a good tag line. It's more than that though. Because it stops me stabbing you in the neck with a blunt pencil may be more accurate but it is, as any advertising exec may note, less catchy. Bill Hicks had good advice to advertising executives. "Kill yourself, Kill yourself now, You serve no purpose."

So with his words ringing in my mind I kept the tag line and gave the advertising world the middle finger. Not that anyone would notice of course. As I said, in this muddy backwater of the Internet there are few people and those who arrive are normally here by mistake and just looking for a way out. To them I don't think my slogan will be life changing. Niether of course will my rants but then, they are not designed to be.

The only thing they are designed for is to let me get some of the frustration of everyday living out of my head and the page, printed or virtual serves this puprose admirably well. Are they read? Does anyone take note? Probably not...Maybe the best advice I can give to you, my lost friend, is to move swiftly on to a page with cute pictures of cats.
